Week 0, Monday

[We have a library!!!! Rita's already got a mountain of science textbooks and research papers gathered in her arms. Perhaps too many, as the tower of stacked-up books and papers wobbles precariously, and a heavy book on the top slides off... right as she's passing by Temenos.

If he's smooth, maybe he can catch it. If not, rip to this dude she hasn't even talked to before.]

[ girl you are so valid? rita has scholar written all over her.

disaster strikes near where temenos is also camped out with a large number of books, sitting at a table. and truthfully, he is not the most physical of a person, but his reflexes are decent! (🎲 sisi 🕯👁 temenos mistral rolled: 18 🎲) which is a miracle which means that when the book falls, almost reflexively, he reaches out to catch it with both hands.

it is, however, much heavier than he's expecting, and he makes a less than dignified - ] Oof. [ noise and manages not to completely drop it on his hands but does wobble with it before he brings it back up to the surface of the table. ] Ah. Careful.

Week 0, Saturday

[Some time after the trial, Rita's just standing out in the street, arms folded and staring at the police station, where the holding cells are.

Unfortunately, whatever her power is, it is not laser vision, and no amount of staring in furious silence seems to be doing any damage to the building.]

[inquired]

[ we're here! coming nearby! temenos makes his way over, looks at rita for a moment, and then leans on his staff. ]

I wonder how easy it is to perform a jailbreak.

[ joking

or is he ]

w1, monday!

[inquired]

A little bird let me know the jailbirds got to fly the nest?
Come meet me at the library later today, if you've the time.

I was going there anyway.

[That's the reply he gets once Rita has her phone back, and sure enough, it's not long before Rita shows up at the library. There's a brief, longing look at the books -- she's gone like two whole days with nothing to read! -- but she'll go on and approach Temenos.]

You wanted to talk?

Week 1, Saturday

[Rita's sitting in the library, trying to compile her notes from the day into something coherent now that there's less chaos going on.

She glances up to see that Temenos is there, and then just goes back to what she's doing. It's kind of rude to ignore him? But on the other hand, it means she's not bothered enough by his presence to stop what she's doing.]

[inquired]

[ you know

honestly???

he's just going to come join her. across the table, for a bit. the rudeness doesn't bother him - in fact, it's refreshingly familiar, and this is the exact sort of camaraderie he's used to from the scholar in his life. so he settles down, takes out his notebook, and...starts to do the same! they can just hang out and work in companionable silence for a little while!!!

and eventually, at a decent lull: ]

You know. I initially thought nine hours was a bit of a challenge, but it was quite a mess, today.

Week 2, Monday

[sup temenos, rita's here at the gadgetry shop!

she's looking at an egg cuber.]

Why did someone make this...?

[inquired]

[ help me ]

...Because they could, I suppose?

Week 2, Friday

[rizomata]

[Rita's just sitting on the curb outside the mall, reading the newspaper.]

... Hmph.

[She sounds unimpressed, but that probably isn't surprising.]

[inquired]

Two again, this week.

[ unimpressed is the mood. this he says by way of greeting. ] Were you able to do any investigating, Rita...?

Week 3, Monday

[rizomata]

Uh... hey.

[Rita finds Temenos near the art store. She's carrying a notebook. It doesn't look like the same one she usually carries. She looks hesitant to ask him something...]

Do you have a minute?

[inquired]

[ :looking: ]

Rita. [ with a friendly smile! ] How can I be of assistance?

Week 3, Friday

[rizomata]

[ Rita's on a park bench somewhere, looking at the newspaper. She doesn't look up when Temenos comes near, and it almost looks like she didn't notice him, until she suddenly speaks up. ]

... Hey.

[inquired]

[ girl mood. he's out and about today and not in his fancy priest clothes, and drops down to settle down near her with a little wince. ]

Rita. [ quietly, in greeting. ] Two more.

[ nyeh. ]

Week 3, Saturday

[rizomata]

[ Temenos gets a text later on Saturday night. ]

Hey, do you still have an extra Remedy on hand?

[inquired]

I've one left.
What do you need?

Week 4, Monday

[rizomata]

[ ... Actually, before any memories get shared, Rita's just coming up to Temenos and holding out a bottled Remedy without a word. ]

[inquired]

[ help. he will take it - he takes two steps and trips a little, when he does? dw about it - but then takes said remedy. ]

Good as your word, I see. [ hehe. ] Thank you, Rita.

week 5, tues

[inquired]

[ if rita's out exploring today, she might be treated to the sound of music coming from the church! the front door seems to be open, and it's loud enough to be heard from outside. it's very well played. maybe surprisingly? who knows.

anyway go figure, the person sitting at the keys is temenos. shocking no one, he looks like a fish tossed into water here, perfectly at ease as he plays through a hymn. truly just vibing in european fantasy catholic today. ]

[ well, she's just walking on in to take a look around. ]

Hmph... I should've known you'd be here.

Week 6, Monday

[rizomata]

[ since everyone won't shut up about halloween, rita's at the halloween store. but she's just wrinkling her nose at the displays. ]

... Nope, still don't see the appeal.

[ and because of the weekly effect, i guess she has some fuzzy moth-like antennae today. ]

Week 6, Sunday

[rizomata]

[ Rita can be found not far from the arena, leaning against a wall. When Temenos comes near, she'll look over at him. ]

Not that I'm complaining, but... what the hell just happened!?

[inquired]

[ just utterly deadpan: ]

A miracle.

[ stop. ]

I've not a clue.
