a pink horse. it's eating a box lunch right off the shelf.

[she's got a basket full of onigiri but she turns around and just

stops and stares at it.]

Week 1, Monday

[rizomata]

[rita's at the grocery store, looking at the cereal aisle.]

What even is this stuff?

[how is there so much. why are there fifty mascots for it.]

[sharkgirl]

[oh, thankfully this is something she is experienced with. she grins.]

Is cereal not a thing where you're from? [she peers down the aisle.] Man, I wonder if Kwispy is on one of these.

[goes to put her hands on all the boxes]

Week 1, Sunday

[Rita's going to try and find Nimona, wherever she is. She waits a few hours after the execution concludes, to give a chance for her to get whatever help or comfort she needs from those who are better at providing them.]

Hey.

... How're you feeling?

[sharkgirl]

[she's better! she's clean, maybe surprisingly, sitting outside at the park, on a bench.]

I'm fine. [she says, glancing over at rita. it's maybe a bit of a lie but it's not a big one.] Hey.

Week 2, Monday

[there's a text with a picture taken inside the new kitchen gadgets store, of some tacky ceramic statues.]

These look good enough to blow up?
Might make for decent target practice, anyway.

Week 3, Monday

[rizomata]

[Well. Rita may have 0% people skills but even she's noticed Nimona's mood today.

So some time in the afternoon, she'll find her in the penthouse and just sets down a box of R**se's P*ffs nearby as an offering.]

[sharkgirl]

[awww rita

she's a puddle of no bones on the bed, but the offering makes her kind of smile a bit at least.]

... Thanks. [genuinely!] You - do you wanna share them?

Week 3, Friday

[rizomata]

[ Wherever Nimona's at, Rita will come over and sit nearby. She doesn't say anything right away. ]

[sharkgirl]

[she glances up and frowns a little, and then... very carefully holds out a hand, if rita wants to take it.]

... You okay?

w3, SATURDAY

hey where are you
you don't have to tell me

i just wanted to check if you were good

I'm fine.
In the park

[ She's not really fine. She's sitting out on the grass somewhere, away from the paths and the people. ]

Week 4, Monday

[rizomata]

[ Hey Nimona, glad we're having a very normal Monday where nothing weird happens!

Except for the comic strip popping up shortly after these two run into each other, showing them a memory. ]

[sharkgirl]

[yeah! everything is all normal except for how the comic pages make her startle and stagger back a few steps. a pause, and then:]

... Are those your friends at home? [she doesn't mean to ask, it kind of just slips out.]

Week 4, Saturday

[rizomata]

[ nimona gets a text after the trial. ]

Sorry about yesterday.

[ for no-showing and being difficult about it. ]

Week 5, Monday

[rizomata]

[ rita is just running the heck to the beach to find nimona.

you good??? ]

[sharkgirl]

[SHE'S FINE she's standing out here, in the waves, pants rolled up. she's wearing ace's hat and reigen's stupid macy's suit jacket, and she looks startled when rita comes racing in, but.]

w6, MONDAY

[she is at the shipyard today!

she's actually just standing here staring at the boats like :itspink: in vibes because she's trying to figure out how to steal it. this could solve all her ship problems...

also, she's got little goat horns, wings, and a tail. like on the right. also, also, her hand is bandaged for some reason, but she doesn't seem to mind that very much.]

[ rita comes up beside her. she's got fuzzy moth-like antennae today. it's fine. ]

And after we went to all the trouble of planning to build one...

[ there are just ships here. ]

w6, THURSDAY

[sharkgirl]

[true to her word, she scoops rita up and turns into a horse, scooting off to... somewhere. somewhere quiet and away from people. maybe she just takes rita to the boat, honestly, and lets her curl up in the cabin, which has a bunkbed and everything.

and then she shifts back to human, putting rita down, before sitting on the floor near the door, like she's puppy-guarding. she'll let rita talk, if she wants.]

[ rita sits on the bunk, running a hand over the bed's surface before leaning back on it. ]

... It smells nice out here.

[ it probably doesn't, especially, but there is the ocean air. ]

Week 6, Friday

[rizomata]

[ after investigations, rita's just sitting on the edge of the dock, her legs dangling over the water, with the newspaper in hand. it doesn't look like she went far after checking out the laser tag building. ]

[sharkgirl]

[she's maybe a little hesitant to come sit down next to rita but. she does. she sits down and kind of tries to keep her face hidden by ace's hat, staring down into the water.

she glances at the newspaper, though.]

... Read anything good?

w7, MONDAY

[sharkgirl]

[it's later in the evening on monday for the purposes of this thread

wherever rita is there is a nimona, coming up to her to take her hand, grinning widely. she's trailing flowers behind her as she walks. her emotions are very fond.]

Hey, have you been to the amusement park yet? We should totally raid it.

[rizomata]

[ help. she shoots her a look of surprise when her hand is suddenly taken, but the emotions on rita's end are also fond. and kind of embarrassed. because she doesn't know what the fuck emotions are getting broadcasted to people!! this effect is terrible. ]

Not yet... wait, raid it?

Week 7, Saturday

[rizomata]

[ after everything's settled, rita's going to come find nimona! maybe on the boat. i hope our boat is still here. ]

... Hey.

[sharkgirl]

[yes!! boat is still here i have decreed it. she's settled on the deck, staring up at the sky, and when rita speaks up, she grins and looks over at her.]

Hey. Here -- [she'll scoot over so rita can come sit if she wants?] We did it.
