[Rita's going to try and find Nimona, wherever she is. She waits a few hours after the execution concludes, to give a chance for her to get whatever help or comfort she needs from those who are better at providing them.]

Hey.

... How're you feeling?

[she's better! she's clean, maybe surprisingly, sitting outside at the park, on a bench.]

I'm fine. [she says, glancing over at rita. it's maybe a bit of a lie but it's not a big one.] Hey.

Good. [She doesn't sound completely convinced either, but it's better than getting an answer in the negative.]

... Sorry you had to do all that.

[sharkgirl]

... It's alright. Kinda prefer it to be me, you know?

[rizomata]

... Yeah, I doubt most of us would have been that accommodating with him.

[sharkgirl]

Probably not. I don't blame you.

He was a person too, is all.

[rizomata]

Yeah. Just not the kind of person I could get along with.

[sharkgirl]

Fair. [she knows she's not going to make anybody see what she saw - and she's upset about chiemi and norma, still. so.

she's just quiet, picking blood out from under her fingernails.]

[rita's quiet too, for a little bit. she doesn't really know what to say to someone who's going through some things. rita doesn't know how to handle her own emotions, and responding to someone else's??? yeah, no idea. she just stands there kind of awkwardly for a bit.]

... Look, um...

Everything that's happened these past few days just... sucks, so... Maybe tomorrow we could just go somewhere and blow off some steam or something. If you want.

[oh noOOOO this is cute

nimona doesn't seem to mind it being awkward - but when rita speaks up again, nimona glances in her direction, and... kind smiles, a bit, maybe for the first time since she woke up this morning.]

Yeah? [...] Yeah. I'm down. Got any ideas on what?

Well... we can play it by ear, see what's there come tomorrow.

Sounds good to me.

[she rubs at the back of her neck.] Text me or something. We can find something to blow up.
