Then... we build something. That furball had what looked like an improvised explosive. It didn't look too complicated.

He and Groot went to the speedway a lot - there's the cars... I bet they scavenged parts from there.

[A thoughtful nod. Even as someone who just learned what cars are this week, she can see how that would work.]

They run on combustion engines, after all...

Yeah. Mechanics like that aren't really my area of expertise, but it sounds like you've got an idea of how to make it work.

Yeah. Magic, machines, things like that -- that's my specialty. I can usually whip up something for any occasion if I have the right tools at my disposal.

[stunwhistle]

[he grins]

Then it sounds like we're lucky to have you here with us, and these cops are not gonna know what hit 'em.

[She thinks a little... then nods decisively, like she's made up her mind.]

Sounds good. I'll get out of your hair, then - I probably wouldn't help much. Unless you want someone to help you scavenge for parts and hand over whatever you ask for?

[he smiles]

But if you prefer to work on these things alone, I won't be offended. I'm here to help if a pair of helping hands would be good, though.
