I don't know any magic that can do it, either, but... if we're talking about the magic of other worlds, that leaves room for a lot more possibilities beyond what I'm familiar with.
Right. The type of magic from my world that would put someone to sleep is usually accompanied by pretty strange dreams, or if you didn't dream you'd still feel a little off when you woke up.

Hypnokinesis is kind of an umbrella term for it, I guess - magic that stems from Hypnos, the God of Sleep. It's got to do with putting people to sleep, or manipulating their dreams... stuff like that.
Usually, no. Most mortals - uh, ordinary people - think the gods are just the stuff of myths and that they weren't ever real. But occasionally there are some who can see through the Mist. And then there's the Oracle of Delphi... she's an ordinary girl, but she inherited the power of prophecy.
They're immortal beings who have power over the forces of nature and like... concepts. Like, Zeus is the king of the gods but also the lord of the sky and thunder, Poseidon's the god of the sea, Athena's the goddess of wisdom, Ares is the god of war...
Nah, not that many people have gotten hurt yet. But it definitely felt like I was a little closer to being tapped out the first time I used it than I normally am.
