[Rita's sitting at a table in the library, her nose deep in a book. She's been here for hours without paying any attention to anyone else in the library, which at this late hour, seems to be just Satan.
The moment the clock strikes 11, the few open doors in the library close. Rita glances up.]
What, is it closing time already?
[Nobody's coming around to turn off the lights or tell them to leave, so... it's probably fine?]
Maybe somebody blew up another part of the city. Again.
[that could be cause for a lockdown. this place probably has some supervillain-emergency procedure for situations like that. if not, they really should.]
[She sounds annoyed at the disruption, as she peels herself out of her seat and heads over to the door. And pulls on it. Then pushes it. Then kicks it.]
[There's a whole pet store here, with so many different kinds of animals to look at... but Satan is hyperfocused on the kittens. They're just so cute... And with his powers, all the more reason to spend way too much time cooing at them.]
Ah, all of you are just so cute...! Would Goat get mad if I took all of you home?
